I’ve been following Cody James Moity’s case and it's so upsetting to see how a conflict spiraled into such a tragic outcome. I feel terrible for Cody's mother, Marylaura. I can't even begin to imagine the pain she must be feeling losing her son, especially considering how close they were. From what I've read, they seemed like the best of friends. It makes you appreciate the bond between a mother and child, something not everyone is lucky enough to have.
I find myself wondering if there were any signs leading up to this tragedy that could have alerted someone to intervene. The fact that this all stemmed from a feud between Cody’s significant other and her sister just feels so senseless. Fehn's drastic actions have not only taken Cody away but have left a ripple of devastation through everyone who cared for him, particularly his son, Ryder. I can only hope that the justice system brings some measure of peace to Cody's family.
