Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Nicholas Carter? I keep thinking about the fact that Cache Shelton was allowed to wash her hands before they could test for gunshot residue. It’s just mind-boggling that this happened! How could such a crucial mistake occur? This case is so frustrating in parts, and it just makes you wonder about the protocols in handling evidence. I truly hope Nicholas's family finds some peace as this process unfolds. It must be unbelievably tough to face these kinds of setbacks while seeking answers and justice for someone they loved so much. Does anyone know if there have been any updates or changes in procedure to prevent this kind of error in the future?
