It's so incredibly sad to hear about Jaci Rhea Bergeron. It really makes you think about the safety issues at places like the Oyo Hotel on Gwenadele Avenue. For someone to lose their life in such a senseless manner, especially in a place already known for criminal activity, is just devastating. I feel for her family and friends who are having to deal with this nightmare. The fact that the suspect, Justin Cuba, was already wanted for serious crimes in Texas just shows how dangerous these situations can become. It’s alarming that someone on a “Top 10 Most Wanted” list could be around us without any warning signs. It really makes you question how such individuals manage to evade law enforcement until something this horrific happens. I hope the authorities take this as a wake-up call to increase security and oversight in such problematic areas. This isn’t just about one case; it's a broader issue of ensuring public safety and preventing such tragedies in the future. Let's not forget Jaci as we discuss how to make places like Baton Rouge safer for everyone.
