Did anyone else find it odd how Gaston's disappearance wasn't reported until over six months later? I mean, his mother was the one who eventually reported him missing, which strikes me as unusual. There's usually some kind of contact, especially between a mother and son, even in tough times. He had been through a lot, with the eviction and whatnot, but for him to just vanish without a trace for so long raises a lot of red flags. Something just doesn't add up here. Maybe there were signs in his life before October that something was amiss, or perhaps there were reasons for the delayed report? It's been over a decade, and I'm still baffled by this particular aspect. Anyone have thoughts on whether delays like this are common or what it could mean in a case like Gaston's?
I've been following Gaston Callum's case for a while, and there's something that's always stuck out to me: the note he left attached to the photograph of Michael Jordan. Why a photograph of MJ? I remember reading that he was a huge fan of basketball, but this feels more symbolic, maybe a connection to his struggles or aspirations during that tough year. It's almost like he saw MJ as a figure of resilience or comeback, which makes me wonder if he was planning something major, either an actual move or a fresh start, before he vanished.
Has anyone else dug into this detail or come across similar cases where individuals left behind specific items or messages with deeper meanings before disappearing? Seems like there might be more to this story that we’re not seeing, and I'm curious to hear what others think.
