I’ve been following the tragic case of Emmanuel Oneal Barnes, and I can’t get over the fact that a 16-year-old is involved. It’s so unsettling to think about what drives someone so young to commit such a violent act. I read that the police are still trying to figure out the motive. Does anyone have any theories or updates on that front?
My heart really goes out to Emmanuel’s family and friends. Losing someone to violence is unimaginably painful, and I can only hope that they find some peace amidst this turmoil. It makes you wonder about the support systems in place for both youth and families in the community. Maybe there’s more we can do collectively to prevent something like this from happening again?

I was just reading about Emmanuel Oneal Barnes's case, and I can't stop thinking about how his family and the community must be feeling right now. Let's not forget to keep his family in our thoughts as they navigate through this loss.
