I was reading up on Phil Erb's case, and something that continues to puzzle me is the lack of surveillance footage. Seattle's a pretty major city, you'd think there'd be cameras that might have caught something. Was it ever mentioned if the authorities combed through footage from around the time he disappeared? It just seems like a city as bustling as Seattle would have had at least one camera along the potential path he might've taken. It’s unusual how someone can just vanish like that in a city environment. Does anyone know if it's more common for cases in urban areas to hit the same dead ends?
Has anyone else been following the Phil Erb case from Seattle? It's been over a decade since he vanished, and I can't stop thinking about how nobody's been able to find any solid leads. I read somewhere that he was a creature of habit and had certain routines. Maybe there's something there? Like, a place he visited regularly that hasn’t been looked into closely enough? It's baffling how someone can just disappear into thin air with so few traces left behind. Does anyone know if there were any surveillance cameras in areas he frequented? It's a long shot, I know, but maybe reviewing old footage could still offer some hope.
