I just keep thinking about the role social media played in this tragic situation. It's shocking how an online feud can escalate into something so deadly and irreversible. It’s terrifying to think that arguments online can manifest into real-world violence, leading to an innocent life being taken like Mekhi’s. Mekhi wasn't even part of the argument, and yet his life was cut short in such a senseless way. I genuinely feel for Mekhi’s family, especially his mother, Tomeka. Her son was just on the brink of starting a new chapter in his life with college, and now, all those dreams and plans have been cruelly snatched away. It's incredibly saddening to see how quickly situations can escalate. I hope the community continues to come together to support his family during this time and that justice is fully served for Mekhi.
