Hey everyone, just joined this thread and trying to piece together what happened to John Edward Johns. Something that's been bugging me is why it took until March 2014 for him to be reported missing when he was last seen in August 2012. That's a long time for someone to be off the grid, and I'm wondering if there were any specific challenges or misunderstandings with the family that led to this delay. Could it have been a miscommunication or maybe they thought he just wanted some alone time? Has anyone seen similar cases where there was such a gap in reporting? Any insights would be interesting. Thanks!
Hey folks, I've been thinking about the two-year delay in reporting John Edward Johns missing. Why do you think it took that long for someone to officially notice and report his disappearance? Two whole years is quite a stretch. I get that every family and situation is different, but I can't help but wonder if there were any signs leading up to his vanishing that might not have been recognized as concerning at the time. It’s not uncommon for people to lose contact with each other, but in cases like this, there's bound to be a detail or two that didn’t add up. Maybe someone close to him assumed he was off on his own somewhere, perhaps due to personal issues? If anyone has insights into circumstances where such delays occur, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Has anyone else found it odd that John's family took nearly two years to report him missing? Was there any mention if he was estranged from his family, or is this just one of those cases where everyone thought he had moved on with his life elsewhere? It's curious how some missing person cases have such delayed reports. It could complicate any leads for sure. If anyone has insights or similar cases, I’m all ears!
