Has anyone else been diving into the details surrounding Clarence "Pinetop" Smith's murder? It's so unsettling to think about how a night meant for music and dance at Prince Hall Masonic Temple turned so chaotic. What's particularly sad is that Smith wasn't even directly involved in the altercation yet fell victim to the violence. I can't help but wonder about the atmosphere that night and how things escalated so quickly. The lack of clarity around the events makes it even more frustrating, especially considering how talented he was and what he could have achieved. It's such a loss for the music world, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who never received any closure. If anyone has found more information about the incident or has theories on why no arrests were made, I'd be really interested to hear!
