I’ve been reading about Linda Goldstone’s case, and one thing that really struck me is how Williams was able to continue living as if nothing had happened during those two days he held her captive. He even attended a court hearing for other serious charges, which is just chilling to me. It’s incredible—and terrifying—how he managed to conceal such a horrific act from everyone around him during that time. I can’t even begin to imagine the strength it took for Linda to defy his orders and attempt to seek help. Her bravery speaks volumes about who she was, and I hope that brings some comfort to her loved ones. It’s deeply unsettling how someone could compartmentalize their life to that extent, blending in with their surroundings while committing such atrocities. It really makes you think about the dual lives some criminals lead and how crucial it is for justice to be served to prevent more tragedies like this one.

I've been reading about the Linda Goldstone case, and one thing that really strikes me is the sheer audacity of Hernando Williams attending court for unrelated crimes while she was trapped in his car. It's deeply unsettling to think about this, knowing that Linda was so close, hidden away in that horrible situation while he just went about his day. Imagine the fear and helplessness she must have felt, all while Williams continued as if nothing was amiss. It's a chilling reminder of how some people can compartmentalize horrific acts, masking them with a semblance of normality. My heart goes out to Linda’s family and everyone whose lives she touched. They’ve had to live with the knowledge of what she endured, and I hope they’ve found some peace over the years.
