Was anyone else really struck by the courage of the surviving girlfriend who testified against Milton Johnson? It's one thing to experience such a traumatic event, but to stand up in court and face the person responsible is extraordinary. Her testimony must have been crucial in bringing justice to Cathleen Norwood, George Kiehl, Richard Paulin, and the officers Denis Foley and Steven Mayer. The immense bravery she demonstrated is something we can all admire. I can’t imagine the strength it took to relive such a nightmare, all in the hope of seeing a monster like Johnson put away for life. My heart goes out to all the families and loved ones. They deserve all the support and respect in the world for enduring such a long road to justice.
