I'm really disturbed by the way the handling of Nervin Charlot’s case went down. How is it that a young man, just 19 years old, could go unnoticed for over two days? I understand crime scenes can be chaotic, but after a tragic event like the shooting of Emmanuel Louissaint, you'd expect a thorough sweep of the area. It's alarming and heartbreaking to think of his family not knowing where he was during that time. The fact that the community viewed the neighborhood as relatively peaceful just makes the whole situation even more surreal. What do you guys think this says about the systemic issues at play here? Were resources or protocols lacking, and have improvements been made since? Hoping the families find some comfort in the pursuit of justice for both young men. Let's continue to support those who might have any information to come forward. It's the least we can do for Nervin, Emmanuel, and their loved ones.

Every time I think about the delay in finding Nervin Charlot's body, it just chills me to the core. Two whole days he lay there, and the thought of his family not knowing is just unimaginable. It's really frustrating that this happened in what neighbors describe as a peaceful part of Dorchester. How could something like this go unnoticed? It really makes you wonder if there was some sort of larger oversight at play here. I just hope that anyone with info finds the courage to speak up because his family deserves justice. Also, kudos to the neighbor who finally spotted him—I can’t imagine how they must feel having been the one to make that discovery. Does anyone know if there have been any changes in how police handle shootings since this happened? It seems like something that should never have slipped through the cracks.

I can't get over how close Nervin Charlot was to where Emmanuel Louissaint was found. It is truly concerning that Charlot's body was there for two whole days without being discovered, especially given the proximity to the original crime scene. This raises serious questions about how thoroughly the area was checked in the aftermath of Louissaint's shooting. Did the chaos of the initial response somehow obscure Charlot’s presence? It’s deeply troubling to think about what his family has had to endure, first facing his sudden disappearance, and then the harrowing news of his death two days later. I hope the investigation sheds light on how this happened and brings his family some answers. This entire situation is a stark reminder of the importance of diligent crime scene practices. My thoughts are with both families as they navigate this incredibly painful time. If anyone knows more or has even the smallest piece of information, sharing it could make a difference.
