Hey everyone, I've been following Julio Castillo's case for a while now, and it's just been on my mind how the celebrations, which should be joyful times, turned into chaos that night. I wanted to talk about how random and terrifying the circumstances were. Imagine being in the wrong place at the wrong time, just trying to enjoy a moment with friends, and then everything spiraling out of control. It's so hard to grasp how something meant to bring people together ended with such tragic consequences. I feel for Julio's family, who have held on for so long, waiting and hoping for answers. It could have been anyone in that car. Does anyone have thoughts on what might finally push someone with information to speak up? After all these years, it's frustrating to think how fear or indifference can keep justice out of reach. Hoping we see some movement in the case soon.

Has anyone here looked into the possibility that someone might have recorded the riots back in '93, like maybe some amateur footage or news coverage that didn’t make it to the big networks? I came across an old article mentioning that a lot of people were out with their camcorders and recording the celebrations. It's such a long shot, but sometimes these bits of old footage show up when you least expect them and could provide new angles or details about what happened that night. It breaks my heart to think of Julio being just caught in the chaos, and his family deserves every bit of help to try and piece together what happened. If anyone has ideas about where to find archives or if local news stations might have some unreleased footage, it could be worth a look. Every little bit helps, right?
