Community, it's been over a decade since Salisha DeBerry's tragic passing, and I can't help but feel the weight of a community that hasn't seen justice served yet. I've been thinking about how Salisha's case still remains unsolved after all these years. Salisha was part of our Decatur community, worked at Family Dollar, and was a member of the Love Fellowship Christian Church. Losing someone so young and full of potential is incredibly tough, and the fact that her killer still walks free makes it even tougher for her family and friends. It's maddening that there haven't been any arrests or suspects identified. I keep wondering if there might be someone out there with information that's hesitant to come forward. Local Crime Stoppers has tried to keep the case alive, but it appears they've been hitting a wall. I urge anyone with even the smallest piece of information to speak up. Let's continue keeping Salisha in our thoughts and keep pushing for justice. Her family deserves answers and closure. They need our support, and we need theirs to bring this person to justice. Salisha deserves nothing less.

I've been following the discussion on Salisha DeBerry’s case and couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of frustration. It’s been over a decade, and there still hasn’t been an arrest. Does anyone know if there have been any updates or if new investigations have been launched more recently? Also, I was thinking about the impact of unsolved murders on a community. Salisha was just 23, working at Family Dollar and involved in her church—she had her whole life ahead of her. The thought that her family is still waiting for answers after all these years is just unimaginable. It’s crucial we continue to bring attention to her story. Keeping the memory of victims like Salisha alive might lead to someone coming forward with information that's needed to break the case. Every bit of public pressure counts. Stay strong, everyone.

I've been thinking a lot about Salisha DeBerry's case lately. One thing that really sticks out to me is the kind of person she was in her everyday life. Working at Family Dollar and being part of the Love Fellowship Christian Church tells me she was probably a really grounded and community-oriented person. It's devastating to think that someone who was likely loved by so many could meet such a tragic end and that her family still doesn't have answers. It's cases like this that make us realize how cruel the world can sometimes be, and how much these families and communities need closure. I hope more light is shed on what happened that night at Cottage Hill. Salisha deserves justice, and her family deserves peace. If anyone knows anything, please come forward. Let's remember her not just as a victim, but as a part of our community who deserves our efforts to seek the truth.
