Has anyone else felt completely torn over the decision not to charge Officer Norbits? I just can't wrap my head around how such a tragic accident can result in no accountability. Kiwane was only 15, with his whole life ahead of him, and now his family has to live with this loss forever. The fact that this incident sparked protests and outrage shows how deeply the community was affected. It seems like such a clear example of systemic issues that desperately need addressing. I understand mistakes happen, but how can we expect change if there's no consequence or investigation into these so-called accidents? My heart goes out to Kiwane's family; they deserve answers and, more importantly, justice. This case continues to be a glaring reminder of the importance of the dialogue around police accountability and racial profiling.
