Hey everyone, I've been following the discussion about Jovantay Alexander’s case and something that really stands out is the community's role in these investigations. It's truly difficult to comprehend how no one has come forward with any information yet. Jovantay was only 19, and by all accounts, he wasn't involved with any gangs or the usual circumstances you might expect in such tragic incidents. It’s a somber reminder of how pervasive the "code of silence" can be in neighborhoods affected by violence. I understand that people may be scared to speak up, but it’s troubling to see how that fear can hinder justice for victims like Jovantay and his loved ones. If anyone reads this and knows anything, even the smallest detail could make a huge difference. We have to hope that eventually someone will have the courage or the opportunity to come forward. My heart goes out to his family and friends. They deserve answers and some level of peace. Stay strong, everyone.
