I came across this case recently and it truly got me thinking. Amanda Fitch was just 24, with so much life left to experience. I can’t help but wonder about the impact her loss had on her family and those close to her. They are the ones left to carry on, bearing the weight of this tragedy every day. I often find myself reflecting on how we can support families like hers, who endure such unimaginable pain. It’s a sad reminder of the gun violence that continues to plague our communities. I hope we can all strive to create a safer environment to prevent similar tragedies from happening in the future. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Amanda.

Has anyone else been following the Amanda Fitch case over the years? It's so tragic to think about how her life was cut short. I was just thinking about the location of the shooting. That gas station in Woodlawn was known for being a pretty rough area even back in 2013. I can’t help but wonder if there are people who saw something but are too scared to come forward, given the gang-related angle. It must be terrifying to live in fear of retaliation, but it leaves Amanda’s family desperately seeking answers. I really hope someone finds the courage to speak up. I always think about how different things might be if those who know something came forward. My thoughts go out to her loved ones who have had to endure this pain for so long.
