I've been following the tragic case of Cassandra Holman, and it's just so awful to think about what happened to her. Something that caught my attention was the fact that she managed to run to a neighbor's house for help after being shot. It shows just how strong and determined she was in her final moments. It must have been terrifying for the neighbor to open their door in the middle of the night to find Cassandra in such a dire state. My heart goes out to them as well—having to witness such a traumatic event is something no one should have to experience. I hope both the Holman family and the neighbors receive the support and resources they need to heal from this ordeal. If anyone has more information about how the community is coping or showing support, I’d love to hear about it. We need to keep sharing Cassandra's story and ensure she's remembered for the courageous person she was.
