Hey everyone, just diving deeper into the Mendy Coria-Coronado case and had a thought about Sonia and Fernando's possible travel route. Given that Sonia is from Guatemala and Fernando is from Mexico, do you think they might have connections or family in Mexico that could be helping them stay under the radar? It's been years now, and I'm curious if they've managed to create new identities or if they’re relying on old connections to hide. Crossing international borders can be risky without proper help, so it makes me wonder about the community ties they might be leveraging. Also, does anyone know if there's been any recent cooperation between US and Mexican authorities on this case? Seems like an international approach would be crucial. Any insights?
Hey everyone, I was just thinking about the Mendy Coria-Coronado case and something's been bugging me. Given that Sonia Coronado is originally from Guatemala, I'm wondering if there's a chance they could have sought refuge there instead of Mexico, where Fernando is from. It seems like most of the focus has been on Mexico, probably because of Fernando's ties, but you’d think Sonia might have connections or an easier time hiding out in her home country too.
Does anyone know if authorities have looked into this angle? Or if there have been any sightings or tips coming out of Guatemala? It’s been so long, and it feels like every possibility should be considered. Just hoping these girls are safe wherever they are.
Hey everyone,
I've been digging into the case of Mendy Coria-Coronado and her sisters, and something that keeps bothering me is how Sonia and Fernando managed to cross international borders despite having felony kidnapping warrants out for them. Is it common for non-custodial abductions to reach this level where they can leave the country without being caught at any checkpoints? It seems like such a huge red flag would trip some alarms, right?
I'm worried that maybe there's a deeper level of neglect in how these cases are monitored once the warrants are out. Anyone have insights or knowledge about what systems are in place to prevent situations like this from happening? Or maybe similar cases where this has occurred? It's just so frustrating to think how they might have slipped through the cracks.
Hoping Mendy and her sisters can be found soon. This whole thing is just mind-boggling.
