It's truly awful to hear about what happened to Keon Kelly and Tariq Purnell. My heart goes out to their families, especially Kelly's children. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for them right now. Something that’s been on my mind is the role of community awareness in helping solve cases like this. From what I’ve read, it seems like there haven't been any arrests or strong leads. It makes me wonder if there's more we as a community could do to assist the investigation. Maybe organizing neighborhood meetings or working closely with local neighborhood watch groups could help create more awareness around the incident and encourage people to come forward with any information they might have. If there’s anyone from Joliet here, have there been any local efforts like this? I just hope some form of justice is found soon for both families.
