Has anyone else been following the Rashad Oliver case? I keep thinking about those two men in the video running from the scene. It's so distressing that in this day and age, despite having evidence like that, it took a while before an arrest was made. I can't help but wonder what Rashad's family went through during those days, not knowing if there would ever be justice for him. It's reassuring in a way that the community came together to support the family, but it's haunting to think of how Rashad wasn't even the target. Just an innocent kid caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Makes me think about our neighborhoods and what we can do to safeguard our kids from this kind of tragedy. Would love to hear your thoughts or any new developments in the case.

I've been following Rashad Oliver's case since it happened, and something that sticks with me is how his community rallied together in response to such a terrible tragedy. It’s truly moving to see how Rashad’s friends, family, and neighbors came together to support his family during a time of unimaginable grief. From holding vigils to starting local initiatives aimed at keeping youth safer, it’s reassuring to see that people aren't letting Rashad's death go in vain. It’s a bittersweet reminder of the strength and resilience a community can have in the face of tragedy, even when it's hard to comprehend why these things happen. I still hope for more meaningful changes to address the deep-rooted issues that lead to such violence in the first place. My heart goes out to everyone who knew Rashad and to those who are still fighting for a safer community.
