I was scrolling through some old cases and stumbled upon the tragic story of Nelson B. Castillo Jr. It really struck me how this young father’s life was cut short under such senseless circumstances. From what I understand, the community in Roslindale was really shaken by this, and it’s incredibly sad to think his family is still waiting for answers a decade later. What I find particularly eerie is that Archdale Road isn't exactly remote. Has there ever been a discussion about potential witnesses who might have been around that night? Late night on a weekend seems like there could have been a few people out and about. Boston Police have kept their lines open for tips, and I sincerely hope that someone who knows something eventually comes forward. His family deserves to know what happened. It's a long shot, but sometimes renewed attention can bring out new details. Thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by this tragedy.

Hi everyone, I've been following Nelson B. Castillo Jr.'s case for a while now, and I think what's often overlooked is the impact on his young family. It's so incredibly difficult to imagine what his spouse and child must be going through, living with the loss every day and without the closure that comes with justice. A shooting that took a promising 25-year-old from his loved ones—it's unfathomable. I'm curious if anyone knows more about the community response in Roslindale since the event? I know there's been ongoing outreach by the Boston PD and requests for tips, but it feels like there must be more community efforts or vigils that have taken place. Sometimes those local pushes can make a big difference both in maintaining awareness and in hopefully bringing forward new information. If anyone from the area has insights, please share. Let's keep the discussion alive for Nelson and his family. They deserve answers, and whoever committed this horrible act needs to be found. Stay safe, everyone.
