I was reflecting on the role that community support played following Zachary's tragic death. It's truly touching to see how the people of Moline came together during such a devastating time. I attended one of the vigils, and the outpouring of love and support for Zachary's family was overwhelming. Friends, neighbors, even folks who didn't know Zachary personally showed up to offer comfort and solidarity. It's moments like these that remind me of the power of community and how, in the face of tragedy, people can be a source of strength for one another. My heart goes out to Lyndsie, Jamie, and everyone who knew Zachary. I hope they feel the support around them as they navigate through their grief. How has the community been coping now, years later? Are there any local initiatives or gatherings in memory of Zachary that continue to bring people together?
