I'm still trying to wrap my head around the senselessness of Ruben's murder. What really stands out to me is the bravery of his friends who witnessed the whole thing and then had the courage to come forward and identify Thrane. It's absolutely gut-wrenching to think about what they must have gone through in those terrifying moments. Ruben was just out enjoying a day of driving, an innocent passion that so many of us share, and it’s devastating that it ended this way for him. I can't imagine the trauma his friends are dealing with, not just losing him, but having to relive it to ensure justice is served. Sending strength to them and Ruben’s family.
