Their advocacy not only kept the momentum going in Taylor’s case but also shone a light on the broader challenges that many similar communities face. I hope this tragedy serves as a catalyst for stronger ties between law enforcement and the community. It’s heartbreaking that sometimes it takes such a monumental loss to prompt action, but the impact Taylor’s legacy leaves could pave the way for positive change.
