I keep thinking about Cory Fisher's plans for the future and how none of us should ever take tomorrow for granted. Just days before he was supposed to start college, his life was stolen from him, and that potential is something that will never be realized. His family's heartache must be unimaginable, thinking about everything he was set to achieve. It's a cruel reminder of how quickly lives can change due to someone else's decisions. We need to keep pushing for stronger communities and support systems for our youth. Cory's story is one too many, and it pains me to think there are others like him. Rest in peace, Cory, and may justice be served.
