I've been following Cortez Pickett's case closely, and something that's been really bothering me is the jury's decision. How could they come to a not guilty verdict after just two hours of deliberation? It's hard not to feel like justice wasn't fully served here. I can't begin to imagine the frustration and pain Cortez's family must be feeling with so many unanswered questions hanging over them. As someone not directly involved, I try to remind myself that the jury had more information than what's been publicly released, but it's still unsettling. For Cortez's loved ones, I hope they eventually find some peace and answers. Has anyone else got thoughts on the judicial process in this case?
