I'm always haunted by the lack of closure in Izzah Readus's case. I can't stop thinking about what kind of person could commit such a cold act and then disappear without a trace. It’s terrifying to think the murderer is still out there. The Kenwood neighborhood, known for its rich history and vibrant community, deserves justice. But more importantly, so does Izzah's family. How long will they have to wait to find out the truth about what happened that night? It really makes you wonder about the effectiveness of the justice system in these cases, especially when it seems like the trail has gone cold so quickly. What can we, as a community, do to push for more attention on these unsolved cases? Every life should matter, and the unresolved nature of this case is a painful reminder of the work that still needs to be done.
