I came across a detail about Courtney Caldwell’s story that really struck me. It’s about Marvin Lee's initial claim that Courtney had broken into his home. This statement genuinely confuses me. From what I understand, the police investigations found that they actually knew each other, which makes me wonder why Marvin would choose to go with the home invasion narrative first. Was he trying to cover something up, or was it a panic response? There’s clearly more to the story of their relationship that’s not public yet. I really feel for Courtney’s family. It's tragic to lose someone so young to violence. It’s hard not to think about how this whole situation could’ve been avoided if things had been different that day. Sending strength to his loved ones who are still dealing with this loss.
