I just can't wrap my head around how devastating this must have been for their parents. Imagine having to deal with such a tragic event within your own home—losing one son and knowing the other is responsible. I read that neighbors described the Nicholson family as always being close-knit and supportive, which makes this incident even more shocking. How does a family begin to heal after something like this? I hope they're receiving all the support they need to navigate this terrible time.
