Hey everyone, I've been following Nevin King's case for a bit now and can't stop thinking about his family and the pain they must be going through. I recently read an article about community witness programs and how valuable they can be in closing cases like Nevin's. It got me wondering - do any of you think that local community outreach or town hall meetings might help encourage witnesses to come forward? It just feels like sometimes people need a little push or reassurance that their voices are needed and that they can make a huge difference. From what I've gathered, Winthrop Street isn't usually a crime hotspot, which makes Nevin's murder all the more shocking. A young life cut short, and here we are years later still hoping for someone to step up and share what they know. If anyone here is from the area or has suggestions on how to raise community involvement, it'd be great to brainstorm ways to help make sure Nevin and his family find the justice they deserve.
