Every time I read about Davion Spivey's case, I can't help but think about the trauma his family must have faced. There was a candlelight vigil held shortly after his passing where people of all ages came together to remember Davion and express their frustration over the gun violence plaguing their neighborhoods. It's heartwarming to see such a sense of community amidst the tragedy, and I truly hope the public's call for change will lead to practical measures that can prevent this kind of tragedy from happening over and over again. While the case brought some justice in the end, it's those proactive steps that we need to see more of. It always hits home when a young life is cut so short like Davion's was. My thoughts are with his family and friends who continue to heal from such an unimaginable loss.
