Hi everyone, I’ve been following the case of Phillip Woods, and I'm just trying to wrap my head around how something so awful could happen in what seems like such a quiet neighborhood. The fact that a stray bullet even hit a nearby apartment is terrifying. It could have easily caused more harm. Imagine being that resident, minding your own business, and suddenly your life is at risk purely by chance. I really feel for Phillip’s family and friends. It's hard enough to lose someone but to have it happen in such a violent and public way must add an unimaginable layer of grief and distress. It’s baffling that there still haven’t been any arrests. I hope the continued attention on this case helps the police gather enough evidence to bring the perpetrator to justice. Has anyone who lives in that area noticed an increased police presence? Or perhaps any efforts to improve community safety since the incident? I hope there's more support available to help residents feel safe again. Stay safe, everyone.
