I've been following the case of Anthony J. Pannell Jr. and Amber Bieser, and I can't stop thinking about Anthony's father's comments. It's so poignant when he says this situation seems "too crazy to be random." What a nightmare for him to experience such a loss and then grapple with the idea that it might not have been a random act. I feel like I would constantly be wondering who could have possibly committed such a senseless act and why. It's terrifying to think about the possibility that someone out there knows exactly what happened but isn't coming forward. I truly hope that the community steps up and helps the authorities piece together what occurred that night. The potential for closure is perhaps the only light at the end of the tunnel for these grieving families. My heart goes out to them. If anyone has insight or theories, please share.
