Has anyone else been following the testimony from the survivor who identified Lionel Parks as one of the perpetrators? I can't even begin to imagine the courage it took for them to come forward after surviving such a horrific experience. It's haunting to think about what they went through, playing dead to save themselves. And now, they're one of the key pieces in bringing justice to Scott Travis Thompson and the others. My heart goes out to them, and I'm really hoping they find some peace knowing they’re helping get justice for the families affected. It’s a heavy reminder of how random and terrifying life can be, especially when it feels like you've been overlooked by the system that's supposed to protect you.

Incredibly sad to think about the impact this must have had on the Fernwood community. I’ve been following the case closely, and something about the tragic deaths of Scott Travis Thompson and the others just stays with you. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain their families are enduring. The detail about Shacora Jackson's daughter, who is still on life support, is particularly haunting. It's heartbreaking to think about a young person’s life being forever altered like that.
I know there’s been a lot of discussion about the evidence against Lionel Parks, particularly the home monitoring records and surveillance footage. It seems like a pretty strong case, but my heart goes out to the survivors and families who have to relive this nightmare every time there's a new development.
