Hey everyone, I’ve been following Eric Jackson’s case and can’t stop thinking about how this still hasn’t been solved. I came across some articles this week and got reminded of what a close-knit community Roxbury is and how deeply Eric’s loss must have hit everyone, especially those who knew him from the basketball courts around Homestead Street. It’s just so tragic to think someone with such a positive impact on his community and kids could be taken like this. Has anyone heard if there have been any new developments or leads? I feel like cases go cold too easily, especially when it’s in a neighborhood with so much happening—both good and bad. It’s tough knowing there are people out there who know the truth but haven’t come forward. Hopefully, renewed attention can lead to some answers. Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Eric Jackson? I was reading up on it today, and it just breaks my heart thinking about his kids growing up without their dad. It must be such a heavy burden for his family, knowing there's still no closure and justice for Eric. What stands out to me is how loved he was in his community and how much he loved the sport of basketball. How can something like this happen to someone who seemed to just bring positivity to those around him? I really hope that someone out there who knows something comes forward. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family is going through. If they ever manage to find the person or persons responsible, I hope they're held fully accountable. Eric and his family deserve at least that much. Anyone else have thoughts on what more could be done to solve his case?
