I've been following Jeffrey Lalond's case, and something that keeps sticking with me is the timing of the murder. It was the night of January 6, right when he was coming home. It makes me wonder if the suspect knew his routine or if it was just a coincidence. I can't help but think about Jeffrey's mom, Pat, who witnessed the suspect fleeing. I can't imagine the trauma of not only losing her son but having to see something so sinister unfold in her own home. I hope they find who did this—it seems like someone out there knows more than they're saying. Let’s keep this thread going and hope for a breakthrough for the Lalond family.

I've been thinking about Jeffrey's kids a lot since I first heard about this case. Losing a father in such a tragic way is something no child should ever have to endure. It makes me wonder how they've been coping with this loss over the years, especially given the circumstances surrounding the case—no answers, no closure. I’ve been following the case of Jeffrey Lalond, and something has been on my mind. I’ve lived in the area for a while, and it’s always seemed like such a peaceful community. It’s so hard to wrap my head around something so violent happening here.
What’s particularly chilling is the fact that the suspect was seen fleeing in black clothing. It makes me wonder if this was premeditated. The cover of night and an all-black outfit suggest someone who planned to leave the crime scene without being identified. It’s incredibly haunting to think about, especially considering Jeffrey was just arriving home, presumably feeling safe.
My deepest sympathies go out to his family, especially his mom who witnessed the aftermath. I can’t imagine the trauma they’re going through. If anyone local has noticed anything unusual around that time or remembers something odd leading up to his murder, please come forward. Justice needs to be served not only for Jeffrey’s sake but for the entire community to feel secure again.
