Hello everyone, I've been closely following Jason Goodfriend's case and keep thinking about his role at Chicago Tech Academy. It's so upsetting to think that someone who was working to positively influence young lives won't have the chance to continue doing so. By all accounts, Jason seemed like a mentor and inspiration to his students and colleagues. The ripple effect of losing someone like him is felt deeply, not just by his immediate family and friends, but also by the students who saw him as a trusted figure in their education journey. It’s truly sad that this senseless violence has deprived the community of someone dedicated to making it better. I can’t imagine what his loved ones are going through, especially seeing someone with such potential and kindness taken away so abruptly. I hope the investigation progresses and that anyone with information comes forward, so that justice can be served and some sense of closure can be provided to his family and everyone who was impacted by this tragedy. Stay safe, everyone, and let’s keep sharing thoughts and any new information we come across.

Has anyone else heard about the memorial service that Jason's friends organized at Chicago Tech Academy? I came across a post about it, and it seems like such a beautiful way to honor his memory and the impact he had on so many lives. They mentioned sharing stories and memories of Jason to celebrate his life rather than focus solely on the tragedy. It's so touching to see the community coming together like this. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are showing immense strength and unity during this incredibly difficult time. I can only hope that these moments of support help them find some solace as they continue their search for answers. If anyone was able to attend, I'd love to hear more about how it went.
