I can't stop thinking about Antoine D. Watkins and how tragic this is for his family and our community. I was reading about the area where he was found, and it's so sad to know this happened basically in his own backyard. Austin is such a close-knit neighborhood despite the challenges it faces. It makes me wonder if someone around saw something or knows anything that could help with the investigation. I hope people in the neighborhood feel safe enough to come forward if they have any information. It's terrifying to think a person could commit such violence and still be out there. My heart goes out to his family and friends. They deserve to see justice served and to have some sort of closure. Stay strong, Austin.
