I've been thinking a lot about the 911 calls related to the Coffland case. Listening to them, my heart broke for Anjum. It’s unimaginable to not only endure the physical trauma of the gunshots but to also bear the emotional weight of what she heard and witnessed. Randall’s call confessed his horrific actions, but Anjum's call is truly haunting, filled with desperation and a mother’s instinct to protect her children even in such a dire situation. It's a reminder of how deeply domestic violence can devastate a family. I really hope Anjum finds some measure of peace in her advocacy work. Her courage in speaking out shows the kind of strength I truly admire.
