I'm really perplexed and saddened by the case of Emmanuel C. Stokes and the others who lost their lives at Nadia Fish and Chicken. One aspect that's been bothering me is the eyewitness accounts or rather the lack of reliability in these testimonies. I find it deeply troubling that despite multiple people being present during such a violent event, the statements couldn’t provide a clear picture. It's a reminder of how chaotic and frightening these situations can be, and how difficult it is for anyone to recall details accurately under such duress. My heart truly aches for the families who were hoping for justice. I can't imagine the frustration of knowing that charges were dropped due to unreliable evidence, leaving them without the closure they deserve. This entire situation just highlights how desperately we need better systems in place to support witnesses and gather solid evidence in the wake of such tragedies. Sending strength to all affected.
