Has anyone else looked into the role the hotel staff might have played in this incident? I'm just wondering about the two men, Collins and Crawford, who were ejected earlier that night but then managed to return with others and carry out such a horrific act. It's unsettling to think about how easily they were able to come back. Could the hotel have done more to prevent this tragedy? It seems like a lapse in security could have contributed to the tragic turn of events that led to Joshua Briggs losing his life so senselessly. My heart goes out to Joshua’s family and friends, who must be struggling to understand why nothing more was done to keep him safe.

It's truly tragic what happened to Joshua Briggs at the Holiday Inn Express. I can only imagine the pain his family and friends have gone through. It's infuriating to think these guys, Coleman, Collins, Crawford, and Reynolds, came back armed after being kicked out earlier that night. It seems like the situation was volatile enough without them escalating it further by bringing guns. I wonder how the hotel handled security that night. It’s perplexing that they were able to return and force their way back in so easily. With violent crimes like this, you would think there'd be some kind of protocol or increased security to prevent people from re-entering after being removed. Does anyone know if hotels like this typically have additional security measures during late-night hours, especially in areas familiar with such risks? Or was this just one of those unfortunate oversights?
