I've been thinking a lot about the role that alcohol played in this tragic crime. It's chilling to realize that something as ordinary as a night of drinking could escalate into such a horrifying plan. It makes me wonder if things could've been different if the trio hadn’t been under the influence. I can’t imagine the pain and suffering Don Jouravleff’s family must endure knowing his life was cut short due to such poor decisions. It's just so senseless. Alcohol doesn't excuse their actions at all, but it's a sobering reminder of how quickly things can spiral out of control. It's heartening, though, to see the community honoring Don by keeping his memory alive and continuing to support his family. My thoughts really are with them during this difficult time.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, but I've been following the tragic case of Don Jouravleff and wanted to share some thoughts. I've been thinking a lot about the role of alcohol in this crime. It's so unsettling how a night of drinking could lead those men to plan such a horrendous act. It's chilling to realize the drastic decisions made under the influence that forever changed lives. I understand that alcohol doesn’t excuse their actions in any way, but it makes me think about the impact substance abuse can have on already poor decision-making. This case is such a clear example of small, reckless choices spiraling into a nightmare for the Jouravleff family. I can't imagine the pain Don's wife and family are going through. I hope they find some peace now that justice has been served. My heart goes out to everyone affected by such a senseless loss.
