I've been following the case of Robert Spoon, and it just weighs so heavily on my mind. It's incredibly saddening to think about how much pressure first responders like him might be under, often silently. I didn't know Robert personally, but from everything I've read, he seemed like such a dedicated professional and loving parent. It's hard to wrap my head around how devastating it must be for his son, Jaxon, to grow up without his dad. I hope that this tragic event sparks more conversation about mental health support within our emergency services and leads to tangible changes. My heart goes out to Robert's family, friends, and colleagues who must endure his absence daily.
