Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Jose Domingo Maldonado, and something that really strikes me is how little information has been released about the suspects or motives behind his murder. It's been over six years, and I can only imagine how hard this must be for Jose’s family, not having any closure or answers. It makes me wonder about how cases like this tend to go cold and what that means for those left grieving. Does anyone here know if there are efforts like spotlight cases or cold case initiatives in the Chicago area that could possibly bring some attention back to Jose’s case? From what I've read, community involvement can sometimes make a huge difference. Let’s keep the discussion going and see if there's a way to bring more attention to this. Thanks for letting me share.

I've been following Jose Maldonado's case, and it's truly upsetting to see how little progress has been made over the years. Considering the shooting happened in such a busy area, I'm surprised there aren't more witnesses coming forward. Gage Park is a neighborhood filled with people, and it seems hard to believe that no one saw or heard anything that could help detectives. It's devastating for his family back in Texas, knowing that justice hasn't yet been served. I can't imagine how frustrating this must be for them, hoping for answers as every year passes without resolution. Can anyone from the Chicago area chime in on what the community's response has been like or if there have been any memorials or vigils held to keep his memory alive?
