I was reading more about the John Laprice Morgan case, and it's so difficult to wrap my head around how someone who was once a friend could turn against him like that. The betrayal is just unimaginable. From what I understand, Kortez Brown-Joiner was motivated by something as foolish as money from someone who had a grudge against John. It's so senseless. My heart truly goes out to John's family and friends who have had to endure this painful loss and betrayal. No one should have to live in fear of someone they once trusted. It makes you wonder about the nature of friendships and what truly drives people to the edge. It’s crucial to remember John for the person he was, not just the victim of such a terrible act. I’m hoping this case brings more awareness about the impacts of gun violence and the importance of choosing our friends wisely.
