Has anyone else been curious about the timeline gap in Patrick Combs' case? It's been bugging me how his truck was found in such a remote spot between Ten Sleep and Worland, Wyoming, which is quite a detour from his intended route to South Dakota. I get that sometimes people take the scenic route or have unexpected stops, but 400 miles off course seems excessive, especially when there's no mention of him informing anyone about plans to veer off. I'm wondering if anyone has theories on why he ended up there, or if maybe he had some sort of plan or meeting that hasn't been uncovered yet? It's just so eerie how his truck sat there for nearly two years with nobody noticing. The area must be extremely secluded.
I've been following the Patrick Combs case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the location where his truck was found. It's not the kind of place you'd end up by accident. I'm curious if anyone knows of any connections Patrick might have had in the Ten Sleep or Worland area? It's hard to believe it was just a coincidental stop on his way to South Dakota. Given his background as both a veteran and a beekeeper, I'm wondering if there might have been someone he planned to visit or perhaps a rare plant or bee species he was interested in? It's just such an odd place for his journey to end without a solid reason. Anyone have any insights or thoughts?
Did anyone else find it odd how far out of his way Patrick's truck was found? I mean, from Inkom, Idaho, to an isolated spot between Ten Sleep and Worland, Wyoming, that's quite the detour from his intended destination in South Dakota. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out why he would have been in that area. Was it just a wrong turn, or could there have been something more that drew him there? I know the authorities don’t suspect foul play, but it just feels like there’s got to be more to this than meets the eye. Anyone else have thoughts on why he could have ended up all the way out there?
