Patrick Combs, a 38-year-old Air Force veteran and beekeeper from Inkom, Idaho, was last seen on October 22, 2015. At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly en route to visit his parents in South Dakota but never arrived. His last known sighting was in Inkom, driving a white Mazda pickup truck with a camper shell.
Nearly two years later, in May 2017, his truck was discovered abandoned in a remote area between Ten Sleep and Worland, Wyoming, about 400 miles from his last known
location. The vehicle appeared to have been there for some time, and despite search efforts in the surrounding area, no immediate trace of Patrick was found.
In May 2023, ranchers in Washakie County, Wyoming, discovered human remains, including a skull, near the area where his truck had been abandoned. The remains were later confirmed to be those of Patrick Combs. His wallet was also found nearby. Though the exact circumstances of his death remain unclear, foul play is not suspected.
