Has anyone else been following Ernie Gardner’s case? I recently came across an old news article about the murder and it got me thinking about how many families like his are left without answers for so long. It seems like the lack of witnesses really hampers the investigation, but I wonder if there are people who might have seen something but are too scared to come forward. It’s been over six years, and the family is still waiting for justice – I can't imagine the pain they're going through. Hoping that the Chicago PD might bring some fresh eyes on it soon. I know the community is hurting too, especially with gun violence continuing to be such a problem. Sending thoughts to Ernie’s loved ones. Has there ever been movement in similar cases that could offer hope or new ideas here?
