I was thinking today about the brave efforts of Rafael's family throughout this whole ordeal. It's hard to imagine the pain of losing a loved one in such a horrifying way, and yet they had to relive everything during the trial. I can't commend them enough for the strength and courage they showed by sitting through the proceedings and facing the man responsible for this crime. Their persistence and cooperation with law enforcement were crucial in bringing Trimble to justice, and I hope they find some solace in the court's verdict. It's small comfort, but maybe knowing Trimble will never walk free again can provide a bit of peace. Love to Rafael's family and all who knew and loved him. ?
